Axel sprung away from me in an instant.

"Axel we need to talk," the voice barked from behind the door.

"It's Saix hide _____-chan," he whispered. I raced to the closet to hide, prior to Axel opening the door. Gazing through the keyhole, I could see a distinctive X on the man's forehead. He had long blue hair, and appeared very cross.

"Who's in here Axel? I heard crying," Saix retorted.

"Oh no he heard me crying," my mind raced frantically.

Axel patted the man of the back, "Saix you need to relax. I'm starting to wonder if the stress is getting to your head. Come to think of it, I believe I heard Demyx crying earlier too." What? Axel was such a casual liar, but would Saix believe him?

"I suppose it might have been Demyx. I apologize for the accusation. Xemnas has been quite upset lately. He believes there are traitors among us," Saix deeply sighed.

"Hey don't worry! Leave it all to me, I'll find the traitors Saix," Axel beamed.

"Then your next mission will be at Castle Oblivion," he said numbly. Saix scanned the room then left through a corridor of darkness. I leapt out from the closet to Axel.

"That's Saix, he's my superior and Xemnas' little slave," Axel informed me wittily.

"I have to ask you something," I remembered I wanted to ask him a series of questions.
"What am I doing here? How did I get to the World That Never Was? Where will I sleep," you interrogated.

"Honestly, i'm not sure how you got here. You can sleep in my bed; I won't bother you. Overall, I believe you're here for a reason," Axel answered calmly.

"What could I possibly be here for," I wondered.

"I'm going to be leaving for Castle Oblivion soon," he paused for a brief moment, "would you like to spend some time with me?" His hopeful eyes looked to me for an answer.

"I'd like that," I shyly smiled at him. I felt the happiness fill my heart.

"But first you need to get better," he said playfully. He took my hand gently, led me to the bed, and sat me down.

He kissed my forehead, "I have to leave again, but please try to get some rest _____."

"When will you come back," I looked up at him. I felt hurt he was leaving me alone once more. He caressed my cheeks lovingly with his hands.

"You really don't want me to go do you," he smirked at my vulnerable state.

I shook my head no. Without the medicine he invited himself to yet another kiss. He took no time to give me warning; his tongue penetrated every nook and cranny that existed in my mouth. I clamped my eyes tightly. He was long from finished, he grasped the back of my head to deepen the passionate, heated, and wet french-kiss. His aggression scared me at first. My eyes widened when he grasped onto the small of my back for support. Realizing his kiss was lustful, I was confused to why things felt right. If anyone else were to kiss me this way I would have slapped them on the spot. Was this love at first sight? He finally parted from the tied tongues and ended the kiss by pecking me softly on the lips.

"Is this what he meant by a dirty little secret," I madly thought to myself.

"Aww are you embarrassed _____-chan," he stuck out his tongue and kissed my flush cheek closest to him. I couldn't stand being sick and erotic from Axel's kisses. My heart beat faster by the moment, my mind raced, and I felt my face geting warmer from his sweet kisses.

"No i'm not embarrassed. Is that how you feel?"

"Remember when I said nobodies can't feel," he asked. I nodded.

"Well I know this must be love, or else I wouldn't feel this fluttering inside of me. Some hidden force drew us together. I'm not going to waste this opportunity. That is why I kissed you _____-chan," he wooed in my ear.

"Is this what you meant by a dirty little secret," I couldn't bare to not know anymore.

"Nah I was teasing you," he snickered.

"You can lie casually and tease. Can I ever take you seriously," I confided in him.

"I'm casual liar for things I want. You can take me seriously when my feelings are true. I may be a nobody, but somehow I feel a connection with you and no one else," he simply answered with a straight face.

Time flew by, I felt my connection with Axel become stronger by the day. He always returned home after eating sea-salt ice cream on the clock tower perch. Axel told me Roxas was his best friend, and that he trusted Roxas the most in the organization. He told me stories of his menacing missions and the juicy gossip among the organization members. He provided and bought me new clothes to my liking. Every other day he would sneak me into the shower room. I took my own risks when heading to the bathroom or sneaking into the kitchen for something to eat. Like Axel said, I got the bed; unfortunately, I felt guilty because he would sleep on the couch, in the living room of the base.

Until one day...

"Axel you can have your bed," I finally told him as he walked in through the door.

"Aren't you worried," he replied getting closer to me.

"About what?"

"That I might do something," he winked at me playfully.

"No I trust you," I spoke with confidence. He cupped my now flushed cheeks and kissed my neck gently.

"That's the understatement of the century," he said with each passing kiss.

"Axel," I madly blushed and tried to pry him off of me.

"I won't be needing the bed anyways. I'll be going on the mission to Castle Oblivion for awhile. I'm sorry _____-chan," he whispered in my ear.

"N-No!," I peered up and looked into his forlorn eyes. He was telling the truth.

"I'm sorry. I'll get Roxas to take care of you in the meantime," Axel explained.

"Why do you have to go," I wailed, "I'll be all alone!"

"_____-chan I have to go. I'll come back, I promise," he crashed his lips into mine abruptly. I didn't want to believe he was leaving me. Tears drowned my eyes and trickled down my cheeks in one set path. My heavy eyes couldn't bear to hold back any tears. Holding them back would only make things worse.

A dark portal opened up behind him. He parted from his distant kiss, his kiss good-bye.

"I can't bear not seeing him," I cried inside of my mind. He coldly left me crying and entered the black vortex. Without thinking, I dashed into the portal before it closed. My heart fell weak, due to being exposed to the darkness once more.

I ended up inside of Castle Oblivion. It had a strange aura too, the castle felt ominous yet mysterious. Frantically looking for Axel, I realized he was no where to be found.

"AXEL... AXEL," I called. My cries for help were mimicked from the many walls making my voice reverberate. The castle was enormous how would I ever find Axel?
Despite the fact that I may not find him, didn't stop me from searching for him. I was on a mission. My legs carried me to each room swiftly at a steady pace. The pitter-pattering of my footsteps echoed in the empty hallways. Each and every room was suspiciously vacant. The furniture appeared as if it had been never touched.

"Does anyone live here," I murmured to myself.

"Not exactly," a silver haired boy appeared from behind a pillar.

"My master and other members are currently occupying this facility, awaiting for the key-blade master," with each and every word that left his mouth he proceeded towards me. He had long, silver, gleaming hair.

"Who are you," I stepped back with caution.

"I am Riku," the boy announced arrogantly, "come with me aren't you looking for someone?" He held out his hand to me. I refused, I simply couldn't trust him.

"You're a lot more stubborn that I imagined," a man with layered pink hair revealed himself from a dark vortex similar to Axel's. He wore a cloak like Axel's so he must be in the organization. I felt uneasy, my stomach churned, and I froze in fear. I didn't know what to do.

"Are you looking for Axel by any chance," the pink haired man questioned.

"How did you know," I gave him a blank expression. I felt relieved that he knew Axel. Riku's jade-green eyes glared at the other man.

"You're the girl that was in his room, are you not? My name is Marluxia, number XI(11)."

"Yes, do you know where I can find him," I gave Marluxia a strange look. How did he know I was in Axel's room?

"Of course, would you like me to bring you to him," he held out his hand and opened up a portal for me. Riku raced over to the two of us when we locked hands in agreement. With this handshake I agreed to leave with Marluxia. He'd surely take me to Axel.

"No don't go with him it's a trap," he warned.

"Silence Replica Riku," Marluxia snapped, and he pulled me into his corridor of darkness. He grasped onto my arms forcefully, and dragged me along with him, until I was in a crisp white room. A petite, blonde girl in a white nightgown looked up from drawing.

"What's going on!? Take me to Axel," I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"I'm sorry my dear I'm going to use you as a pawn to control Axel," Marluxia sinisterly smiled. He let go of my arm. I instantly ran to the door to escape, but the door was locked from the outside. The blonde girl watched my futile efforts to escape, soon after Marluxia whispered something into her ears.

"I'll be back," Marluxia informed, as he quickly exited through another portal.

"How am I going to find Axel now," I sadly thought to myself.

"You really love him don't you," the soft-blue eyed girl faintly spoke.

"Yes," I sighed, knowing there was nothing I could do. She slightly smiled.

"I'm Namine," she introduced herself politely.

"I'm _____," I gave her my name.

"Even if you were to leave. I wouldn't advise it. Marluxia ordered me to change your memories with every step you take outside these doors."

"Change my memories?"

"Yes I can alter your precious memories with Axel," she explained.

"Change my memories with Axel," I looked down. Was finding Axel more important than my memories with him? I didn't want to choose, it simply wasn't fair.

"What do I do," I could feel my emotions overwhelming me again.

"Hey do you want to find your friend," I looked for the familiar voice.

"Up here," the familiar voice called again.

I gazed up to find Replica Riku in the vent.

"Why are you helping me," I was unsure, due to the first experience of trusting someone in the castle.

"I'm not sure. Now take my hand so we can get out of here," he started to get flustered.

"Don't go with him," Namine warned, "Or else I'll have to change your memories too."

"What," I came to the utter conclusion that she was changing someone else's memories as well. She stood up and turned her sketch pad facing you. The bright vibrant colors formed an outline of you holding hands with Replica Riku.

"You sure suck at drawing," the silver haired boy snickered.

"I wouldn't be laughing. I could easily alter your memories without you even knowing it."

I wanted to find Axel more than anything at the moment, so I grasped onto Replica Riku's hand. He hoisted me up and into the vent.

"Each step you take you'll lose memories to gain memories," Namine shook her head.

"It's a risk i'm willing to take," I called to her from above. I tailed Replica Riku through the vent to safety. Nothing made sense anymore. I was betrayed by Marluxia and Namine. At least Riku was helping me out of the room to safety.

"This castle is huge, so I'm going to assume Axel is upstairs with Larxene, Marluxia, and Vexen," he revealed, as he kicked out a vent that was on the ground level.

"Why are you Replica Riku," I inquired innocently. The silver haired boy turned to me and studied my facial expression.

"I'm not the original Riku. I'm merely a clone," he realized I must have been sincere.

"That may be so, but you're very kind. Thank you," I shyly smiled at him.

"Are your memories alright," he changed the subject and turned away when a blush creeped across his face.

"What do you mean," I asked.

"Your memories with Axel," he kindly reminded me. It took me longer than usual to think. I remembered Axel was the red haired young man who allowed me to stay in his room for some time. I nodded in relief.

"Good. Remember each passing step will cause you to lose your memories with Axel. So lets not backtrack," he explained while leading me down the hallway. Every step I took, I felt as if memories slipped away. We cut corners and skimmed the rooms to not waste time.

"Riku what if we split up," I realized after minutes of searching.

"NO! I'LL PROTECT YOU," Replica Riku reassured me in a harsh manner. He grasped onto my hand tightly and he quickened his pace.

My mind drew a blank for a moment. Consequently, my cheeks turned a deep red.
Wait a second, was I falling for Replica Riku?

"STOP," I cried. Replica Riku respected my wishes and stopped running.

"What is it? Are you alright?" He turned around and felt my forehead.

"Who are we looking for," excruciating pain filled my broken heart. I recalled the man I loved was extremely important. Tears replaced my words and trickled down my face. Replica Riku embraced me with a comforting hug.

"It doesn't matter now, I'm here," he kissed my head.

"Ri...ku?" A door opened up in my mind. New memories entered my heart.

"Hmm?" His eyes seemed familiar to me, somehow being with him felt right.

I returned the hug lovingly. Those memories with Replica Riku were important. The time he found me alone in the dark street in the World that Never Was, the time he took care of me when I was bedridden, and the best memory of all was his sweet, passionate kisses. Everything at the moment was alright.

"_____-chan. There you are! I need you now," Marluxia reappeared from a dark vortex.

"I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME," Replica Riku stood in front of me in a fighting position. He summoned a dark weapon of some sort.

"How amusing... You both share false love with each other," Marluxia beamed a smile.

"OUR LOVE IS NOT FALSE! I WILL PROTECT HER," Replica Riku shot back.
Marluxia summoned his scythe to battle Replica Riku.

"Be careful," I warned him.

Replica Riku made the first offensive attack and lunged for Marluxia in mid air. Marluxia dodged Replica Riku altogether and glided over to me and shoved me back.

"GET AWAY FROM HER," I heard replica Riku holler at the top of his lungs.

"You're too late," Marluxia turned to him and vanished into thin air.

Instead of falling to the floor, I was falling into darkness. I felt as light as a feather here, the wind softly embraced me and played with my hair. No light could be emitted here. How long would I freely drift in this darkness? My heart felt feeble. Suddenly, I left the darkness and fell onto a comfy bed. I arrived in a middle of a conversation between Marluxia and two other people dressed in black cloaks.

"So what do you say Axel," Marluxia extended his arm presenting me.

"_____-chan!? Where did you find her," a red haired man's face buckled up in distress.

"I found her wandering about the castle," Marluxia smirked at Axel's decrepit face.

"Looks like I don't have any other option," Axel's eyes narrowed, but he nodded in defeat.

"Glad you could join us. Together we can overthrow Xemnas and gain control of the organization," Marluxia declared with a boastful laugh. The blonde-haired woman cackled to Marluxia's plan too. The red haired man rushed to my side.

"Are you alright _____-chan," he cupped my chin and held me close to him.

"Who are you? I demand to see Replica Riku! I have to find him," I hollered. Instantly, Axel's forlorn expression changed to defeat upon his broken face. He placed me down and advanced to Marluxia.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HER," he grabbed Marluxia by the collar and shook  him roughly. Marluxia's smug expression remained plastered on his face.

"Absolutely nothing! She was given fair warning not to wander around or else she'd lose her memories," Marluxia simply clarified.

"Who knew Axel had a 'heart'," the woman snickered.

"Can it Larxene," Axel snapped with fury.

Axel looked up and over the bed... I was nowhere to be found.

"I've got to find Riku," I cried, rushing through the large hallways.

"RIKU! RI-KU," I shouted.

For some reason my mind drew another blank, and I was losing energy at an exponential rate. My calves were screaming and whining for me to stop. My sides began to feel tight and ache. At the worst moment possible, my legs collapsed from underneath me. I tried to pick myself up, but my efforts were futile.

"_____-chan," I searched frantically for the voice. Again my heart felt lonely and empty. Every bit of happiness and love was drained from me like my strength. I could only recall my own name and nothing more.

"What's going on? Why do I hurt so much," I wailed.

"It's going to be alright _____-chan," a red haired man stooped to pick me up. From what I could see, tears filled his eyes quickly.

"Are you alright," I politely asked.

"_____ I don't care how long it takes for you to find your memories. I'll find you through the thickest fog, and I'll find those memories that are obscured. I'll be your light to show you the way. I don't care if we have to re-fall in love. I just want you back. 'You mean something in my eyes'," he choked up and started to cry at the end. He held me tightly in his strong arms. Being held this way felt familiar, I felt as if I knew this man.

"A-..."

"What," the man looked at me with hopeful eyes.

"A-X-E...L"

"_____-chan," he smiled that I said those words.

"Axel," I repeated

"Yes?" He embraced me with another hug and cried onto my shoulder, this didn't bother me. Each and every tear shed from him, was from the agony from his heart. I had forgotten something special he knew and cherished.

"I'm sorry Axel," I deeply apologized.

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HER! SHE'S MY WOMAN YOU FREAKISH CLOWN," I recognized this voice from somewhere before. A boy with Silver hair appeared from the ceiling ledge. He starred at Axel with pure hatred. The boy glided to the floor to confront Axel.

"Don't kid yourself Replica Riku she's mine," Axel sternly said.

Axel's exhausted face seemed bewildered at the moment. It seemed he never imagined that Marluxia would alter Replica Riku's memories too. Axel placed me down on the ground gently. Seconds later, Replica Riku struck Axel in the head with the Way to the Dawn key-blade. It was purple with a red blade and had a single blue wing that sprouted near the top. The handle had a angel wing and a devil wing that lay on each side. The heartless emblem was attached by a chain. Axel recovered quickly and summoned his red chakrams that went up in flames.

"You're messin' with the wrong guy pal," Axel snapped.

"WE ARE THE ONES IN LOVE," he yanked me up harshly by my arm. I winced because it felt like he ripped my arm off. He dove in for a aggressive kiss, he grasped the back of my head roughly. His tongue penetrated my mouth with ease. He then gently bit my lip and smirked. He then passionately kissed my neck. Tears started to form in the corner of my eyes. I had no idea what was going on. I couldn't remember, and I didn't know if it felt right.

"What," I asked while trying to catch my breath. He glared at my uncertainty.

"Oh how sweet, you found each other. Too bad she can't sincerely return your feelings because she doesn't remember them," a pink haired man appeared from behind a pillar.

Marluxia was enough of a distraction to make the Replica Riku and Axel stop fighting.

"SHE DOES REMEMBER," Replica Riku denied in fury. He let go of my arm.

"This ends now Marluxia," Axel proclaimed as he glared daggers at Marluxia.

"I'll destroy you," Marluxia returned the threat. He summoned his scythe to battle.

Accordingly, chakrams appeared in Axel's hands. Then, flames engulfed Axel in one swallow, but he didn't burn. Marluxia called forth vines and thick flowers. I felt light headed and frightened. Marluxia started the fight offensively using his death scythe in close combat. Axel blocked the attack and spit out flames in all directions. Marluxia avoided the waves of flames with ease and lunged for Axel with his scythe again. Replica Riku not only continued to attack Axel but he attacked Marluxia as well.

"The tip of this scythe is poisoned," he whispered in Axel's ears. Axel jumped back due to the risk of being slashed with the poisonous blade. Replica Riku persisted close contact and closened the gap between them with offense. Fortunately for Replica Riku, he was fast enough to prevent Marluxia from an attack.

"Did I forget to mention... the longer we fight the sooner your beloved will pass out from the flower's fumes," a sinister smile spread across his face. It was getting harder and harder for me to keep my eyes open. Axel dashed over to Marluxia while he was distracted by Replica Riku. The cyclone of flames were following him like a long shadow. Marluxia swiftly vanished into a vortex and the reappeared out of harms way. Or so he thought, Replica Riku had followed him into his own corridor of darkness and used a counter attack from behind using his key-blade. Marluxia recoiled and slashed Replica Riku's arm. Even being slashed in the arm replica Riku persisted. Axel chucked his flaming chakrams towards Marluxia. Marluxia used his enormus flowers to protect himself. The flowers burst into flames with ease. Acoordingly, he used them to his advantage and merely launched them at Replica Riku and Axel as a distraction. Out of nowhere vines abruptly tied me up.  The next thing you saw was a twister of burning roses that hurled towards me at a rapid pace.

"WATCH OUT," Replica Riku warned as he leapt out in front of me and took the attack. My eyes widened at the horrific scene.

"WHAT," Marluxia's attention was directed towards the boy on fire.

"I promised I'd protect _____-chan, and that's exactly what I'm going to do,"  he scowled at Marluxia. Using his opportunity wisely, Axel spun his flaming chakrams at Marluxia. It was a direct hit. The impact of Axel's weapons slammed Marluxia against the wall.

"RIKU," I cried out to him. By the time I called out his name, he had already made it to the other half of the room to Marluxia. Shortly after, bright flames lit the room instantly.

"_____-chan! We have to get out of here! Replica Riku is going to sacrifice himself to save you," Axel glided towards you and scooped me up into his arms quickly. From what I could see over Axel's shoulder, replica Riku pinned Marluxia to the wall and emitted darkness that overpowered the light and everything turned dark. Within moments Axel fled the scene using his corridor of darkness.

So much had happened. I was unsure what were my real memories and what ones were false. I longed to regain your memories. No matter how hard I tried to remember my memories, they never came back. My eyes ached from crying so much, but I couldn't help but to feel tormented. The corridor led to an Axel's room.
For some reason I could remember my name, a few selected names, and places.
All was quiet, except for Axel's quick heartbeat. He plopped down onto his bed with me in his arms. I felt accustomed to the room, did he bring me here so I could remember? Our eyes locked, he had beautiful emerald eyes. I tilted my head and tried to find the answer though his kind eyes... Nothing.

"_____-chan," his voice trembled, and he looked away from me.

"What," I replied softly.

"Even if I am a nobody, you taught me to love. Nobodies don't have hearts. They cannot feel emotions," he continued then fell silent.

"Who cares if you are a nobody. Your kindness and love are true, I can tell. Those who are unaccepting of others are ignorant. Ignorant people lack information. You mean something in my eyes," as the words left my mouth, I felt like you had said them before. Tears fell from his eyes. His saddened smile said everything on his mind. He closed his eyes, the tears were forced to a current path with no escape. The sunlight shone through and tried to lighten the mood. The beams of light created a yellow tint in the room. The tears' crystals gleamed in the morning sunlight. Finally, he looked towards me. I blushed at the scene; however, I struggled out of his arms and straddled Axel. He cupped my flushed cheeks and licked my lips for an invitation. Allowing entry, he penetrated my mouth with his tongue. He took a moment before his lustful kiss, to breathe on the nape of my neck. Despite the fact that I had forgotten my love with Axel, I was willing to re-fall in love with him. He teased me by lightly nibbling, I pulled away in shock. His proximity closed the gap, and he stopped teasing me and amorously kissed me. He grazed the roof of my mouth, and took no time controling the kiss itself. He pulled me close by my waist, situating me comfortably on his lap. I hesitated no longer and kissed him back. He took another moment to kiss my flushed ear. my emotions overwhelmed me to such an extent, I flinched a little that his warm tongue made contact with my ear. A content, cheerful, exhilarating feeling filled my heart once more. I felt embarassed that he loved me so much sometimes. This reminded me of the time he gave me medicine through a kiss. When he held me close, I imagined the time he carried me in his arms to the base. His constant teasing was a little reminder of his witty sense of humor. Through his tender love and kisses, the memories returned to me fully in the heat of the passionate moment.

"I love you Axel," I managed to say between kisses, "I could never forget you."
